With a pen name derivative of Freyja, the Norse goddess of sex, love, and war, Romanian singer-songwriter Freia recently made her debut with “Call My Name,” a radio-ready number finding a home between minimalistic pop and house music.
Describing the song as “very honest and raw,” and one of her personal favorites, the pop chanteuse’s inspiration for the video comes from “A world where everything is too big and too lonely without the one I love.” Today, C-Heads gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the blood, sweat, and tears that turned Freia’s arctic daydream into a reality.
