We recently had a chat with South London´s talented singer and songwriter Poppy Ajudha and we are super happy she has some fresh stuff out. Her new video for the soulful single ‘Love Falls Down’ is just heart-warming and is reflecting her roots and growing up in her local area of Deptford.

“My new single ‘Love Falls Down’ is a dreamy teenage love song which draws on the experiences and difficulties of first love. For me the video aims to marry this contemplative state with an honest and raw depiction of my life spent growing up in South East London, and my childhood memories of weekends at Deptford Market where my dad would haggle for fresh crabs and me for lucky bags and we’d have breakfast at Jenny’s cafe.” she tells “With gentrification rearing it’s head in Deptford and the surrounding area, it felt important to shine a light on local life and some of the characters and places that, for many years, have helped to create the area’s unique feeling that is rooted in diversity and multiculturalism.”

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
