The sea so close

“Inês was our neighbor. Whenever she left home, her beauty and relaxation never left us unnoticed.” tells Vila do Conde, Portugal based photographer Daniel Lima about his C-Heads Exclusive starring sweet Inês. “Until one day we came up with the invitation if she was interested in having a session with us. She accepted immediately and we found out that she was even taking a degree in photography and cinema and discovered how much we had in common.”

“We had many conversations about cinema, great filmmakers and directors of photography, what influences us in our work and how important these influences were related to our view of people and the world. We just have to find out what we love and let it kill us.”

We wanted to know more and asked Inês a few quick questions:

When I wake up…
I always open the window to see how’s the weather

I am in love with…
cameras and lenses, I always take some money to invest in new material, and I feel like a child when I have it for the first time in my hand.

My mother taught me …
to cook, but I will never make such good food like hers. Mother’s food is the best ever!

Happiness is…
in everything you want

I am excited about …
the documentary I finished this year, “History Made from people “, which will be inserted in the 25th Vila do Conde’s International Short Film Festival in the Take One competition.

I am grateful for…
having the sea so close, because a love the sea, in difficult days it calms you

helping the next

full of garbage. Obviously has his benefits, like everything else, but it is necessary to filter what circulates

I am currently listening to…
Manu Chao, he’s an original talent. I can’t even put it in to words, his sound comes from somewhere unique, somewhere sad and beautiful.
