Tom Gan-or is a 27 years old photographer and visual communications student from Jerusalem and his work includes portraits, landscape and lifestyle. When he bumped into Jasmine and Charlotte at art school, he just knew that he wanted to have them both in front of his lens. They agreed but under one condition: That they would all go to the Dead Sea together. And so they did. Together with Tom´s friend Tsuri who assisted the shooting.”The Dead Sea is a surreal place just an hour from Jerusalem. After almost 20 years I haven’t been there and the visit there as photographer was just so interesting and surprising.” Tom explains. “The apocalyptic feeling, the heat, the strange people you meet and the beautiful view, I was left speechless through this sort of beautiful weirdness. Jasmine and Charlotte are both exchange students who study Fine Arts at the academy. They absorb Israel in a touristic way which is different to my perspective of my country. With their fun spirit they convinced me to leave our exhausting routine behind and go for a day off to clear our minds.”
