“My whole life I’ve been doing what others do, imitating what everybody does so I don’t look like a stranger. I’ve been pretending to be someone who I don’t even like so others can’t say I’m weird, creating an ‘Alter Ego’ who doesn’t make me happy at all.
Since I was little I’ve been educated stupid things like girls can’t have short hair. Full of all this kind of rules you have to obey to be a ‘exemplary person’ I started questioning all I was ever taught. I put my swimsuit on, I went to an empty swimming pool and I found out pools are not only for swimming.”
