The Vancouver based DJ and producer Felix Cartal just dropped a new track and “Hold Tight” turned out so hauntingly, pure and beautifully simple.

“My last few releases have had more traditional structures and are quite lyrically driven. With ‘Hold Tight’, I wanted to see if I could make something as emotionally powerful, with little to no lyrics.” talks Felix Cartal about his newest release. “I liked the Hold Tight phrase, which I sampled from “Get What You Give”, as a theme,” he continues. “I think embraces are very powerful, and the mood of the song has this sort of unresolved feeling – like we are all searching for a moment of togetherness.”
