Models Tracy Boronkay, Preston Mann and Beanie Boylston were all born and raised in LA, each one having their own dreams and different path to achieve them. In Young LA#2 they share with us their dreams and passion and philosophize about the good and bad thing about living in this times and generation. Meanwhile photographer Keitaro Cloward captures the cute girls at the Redefine Studios, dressed in a fab styling done by Beanie Boylston and make-up by Brianne Ross.

Do you ( and did you ) like living/growing up in LA? What do you think are the pros and cons?

Tracy: Loved growing up here, because I always felt so active. It’s a little utopia, there’s always stuff, things going on, different people.

Preston: Yeah, there’s so much you can do. But it can get crowded and it’s hot most of the year. So you don’t really get to experience the seasons, it would be nice to have some seasons.

Beanie: There is definitely more opportunity, but at the same time you are exposed to a lot of spoiled and entitled people. It’s hard to find genuine people here, but you can say that about any big city.

What’s your dream?

Beanie: Knowing what I want in life. Taking every opportunity I can to figure out life and what I want to do and what will make me happy.

Preston: To inspire others in any way possible, model and maybe be a teacher some day.

Tracy: As of right now, Actress for TV or Film. Even though I haven’t started yet, I think it will go somewhere.

“Sometimes it’s a little hinderance on the human connection. Everyone is just looking at their phones and not what’s around them.” Tracy

What’s your Passion?

Preston: Making others happy and laugh, entertaining.

Tracy: I love to sing a lot, I’ve been doing it since I was five so it’s definitely part of me.

Beanie: Not having to care about what other people think, feeling disconnected and not having to worry about anything.

What’s the most difficult part about living in this time/generation?

Preston: Being a young teenage girl it’s hard to get people to listen to my opinion with respect.

Tracy: Sometimes it’s a little hinderance on the human connection. Everyone is just looking at their phones and not what’s around them.

Beanie: Everyone has an opinion about something and whatever you say will offend someone. So it’s about figuring out whether you’re passionate enough and whether it’s worth offending someone.

What are the good things about living in this time/generation?

Beanie: You can learn more, see more of the world and connect with people you wouldn’t be able to connect with otherwise.

Preston: I can speak my mind and pursue anything I want.

Tracy: Technology, social media, really helps us be individual and be creative in the way we want to. We don’t have the fear of conformity, everyone has their theme and aesthetic that they can express through social media.

Anything else you’d like to leave us with?

Preston: Sounds cliche, but, do what you love and live everyday like it’s your last.

Tracy: Doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing right now. Just be a bad bitch, be great.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
