“So what does it mean to be a true redhead? Forget the stigmas and clichés.

A real redhead means always smelling like sunscreen, and finding the shadiest spot wherever you go.

It means repeatedly counting your freckles as a girl and learning to love each and every one of them as you grow older.

It means only going to the beach 3 minutes before the sun sets (even though you only 3 minutes away) but catching all the most beautiful sunsets.

To be a real redhead means you’ll never be able to have a poker face when every small embarrassment makes you look like a tomato… but learning to be open and honest, since everybody will see how you feel anyway.”
