Hello Esty!

Hey! My name is Esty Diskind, I am 23 years old and have been living in Tel Aviv, Israel for the past 2 years. I´m represented by the Elinor Shahar model agency in Israel.

Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?

I had low self-confidence issues. I have neglected this whole beauty part in my life, and I wanted to connect with it and prove to myself that it was all an inner matter in the first place. When you feel pretty inside, you are the most pretty.

What do you love most about yourself? And what do you love most about others?

I found, that when I feel good about myself mentally and embrace the sides that can be perceived as inferior or imperfect I am truly happy and the world is reinventing itself for me.
What I love about others is honesty. People who aren’t afraid to show that they are different can be very powerful in my eyes.

What was your upbringing like?

I grew up in an ultra orthodox community next to Jerusalem. I was raised into a very primitive way of life. Over the years, I have had doubts and fears about the whole issue of religion.
Once I understood that the goal of having fears is to grow from it, I chose to deal with it and used it in my favour. There are different people in the world and everyone has a way of life that suits him. There is not one way for everyone.

What’s something you wish you could tell everyone in the world?

I would like people to know and understand, that beauty is a reflection of what we feel about our inner self. Love and self acceptance bring success and happiness. Love yourself as you are and embrace your imperfections.

Best advice you’ve ever received?

Listen more and talk less. Sometimes I can’t get my mouth shut 😅

What do you expect from life?

I would like to stay loyal to myself and my approach for life. I wanna learn my life lessons from a loving place, to be powerful woman and a role model.
