New beginnings are exciting.

Just ask Ethan Thompson. The Los Angeles based songwriter has recently stepped out on his own with his latest project, Alt Bloom. Fresh off releasing his smooth debut single, “Call It Home”, the singer has decided to strip things down with its latest rendition. Pulling back the production, and reducing it to a guitar, keyboard, and campfire, “Call It Home” not only stands on its own, but shines in its purest form. Today C-Heads brings you an exclusive look at the intimate performance.

“A lot of the love songs I’ve written for Alt Bloom are fantasies about the kind of love I want to have, and that I’ve held myself back from because I keep putting these walls up, ‘Call It Home’ is about dropping that wall down, and flipping the switch from ‘I like hanging out with you’ to ‘Let’s really risk something and see what this can become.’”
