Ever so often a record comes along that makes for the perfect soundtrack to a breakup. Technically, the latest offering from Black Sea Dahu isn’t really a full length record, but an EP, but it’s definitely designed to do the job. The release is called No Fire in the Sand and it delivers five sublime urban folk vignettes of a love gone askew. So, if you’ve already worn out all your Elliot Smith records, and you can’t stand hearing For Emma, Forever Ago anymore, Black Sea Dahu just might be the thing you need right now. Make yourself some of that thick, hot chocolate, drag your comforter to a cozy spot by the window and let Janine Cathrine and her band put you under their spell.

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
