Fevelen is a project by Vitalija Prosevic showcasing all forms of self expression.

“LA was where I shot my first ever drop for Feleven. Returning to the ‘City Of Angels’ – where it all began, felt like growth. I love travelling and being in foreign places. I feel like as humans we tend to feel more free and curious in a new place. Constantly exploring and making an effort every day to live out our lives. This project is special, because it shows the growth I have achieved in just one year. This is Feleven’s first birthday and I couldn’t have imagined for it to go this far. I started this just as something I really enjoyed doing – creating art with my friends. And now, it has turned into something that I can look back on and be proud.

I think photography captures emotions clearly, and creating in a space that has the right energy at the time is important. It builds the feelings in the photos. That’s why I appreciate when I get to work with my friends, because it all comes naturally. And other times I try to build a relationship with the subject in my photos, make sure that we can share an understanding of each other. I believe that everyone we cross paths with is there for a reason, even if it’s short lived. So I appreciate every single person I get to meet with this job. There’s a reason for everything.”
