“On my flight over from Montreal to Melbourne I sat next to an extremely fashionable older woman. She had long, eccentric red false nails and was busy filling out the crossword puzzle out of the back of the airline magazine while dining on the in-flight cheese and crackers and sipping on red wine out of the little plastic cup.” photographer Ana Jovmir tells about her eye-catching new C-Heads exclusive series starring gorgeous Georgia Wood.
“That image of her unapologetic, over-the-top look surrounded by the unremarkably average mix of elements around her, left me with a very fun, life-is-what-you-make-of-it type feeling. Once settled in Melbourne, I found a similar bold, shameless yet unfussy attitude in the crowds of people that lounge around St Kilda beach on hot Melburnian summer days. After moving close to the beach, I decided to capture that moment of shameless audacity in a photoshoot and found the lovely Georgia, who turned out to be the perfect incarnation of fun, cheeky fearlessness.”
