“I took this images with Filiza on an empty Miami beach a couple of months ago. I was on holiday with my family and Filiza was in NY but decided to spend the weekend in Miami so we could do this shooting together. We met up at 7 a.m. during a beautiful sunrise and started shooting one hour later.” tells us Bruno Bicalho Carvalhaes about this classic beach set. “Filiza is such a smart and natural model. She found herself and has no intention of changing herself just to please anyone… and that makes her so authentic and special. I wanted to create strong and emotional images, and she definitely made my vision easier. I always photograph on film and digital, which for me are two different ways of thinking photography. So this series is a mix of both techniques.” Filiza is with The Source Models.
