21-year-old talented North London based Jazz vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Carmen Lees combines a straight fusion of Hip-Hop beats and urban jazz.
With her new self-released debut Ep ‘Living Room’ she delivers us warm and soft sounds and her catchy voice is just right to accompany spring moments. Due to the current circumstances, her debut EP was made between creatives working from home, leading her to the name the collection ‘Living Room’.
“‘Living Room’ covers multiple topics concerning my surroundings. I’m learning to write more about family, larger issues and myself while I grow through my music. Creating ‘Living Room’ through lockdown pushed me into being inventive and releasing songs that I wasn’t planning to share such as ‘Something Special’ “
