The Berlin based Arab- German singer and songwriter DALEE creates wonderful music for the soul. Her lyrics tell stories and put feminine power, vulnerability, belonging and patriarchic expectations into the focus and leaves the listener embedded in soft beats and her mellow vocals.
Spending her teenage years discovering music as a violinist, guitarist and piano player she was already writing her first original compositions. “As a mixed-race child I always had trouble finding my position in society.” This process of leaving behind social expectations and finding belonging and shelter in music is an essential topic in her first EP ‘Natural Cycles’.
