Blending different genres of music, Stockport-raised vocalist and producer Shango SK crafts incredible evocative tracks.

For his latest track Shango delivers a care-free pop song inspired by making the most of the night. It’s about “partying and having a buzz,” he says. “That feeling when you’re out with ya mates, meeting someone and catching a vibe, not thinking about tomorrow and living in the now.” Some of the things we really miss right now.

Taking a break from analysing his past relationships, “Shot” follows in the footsteps of breezy summer single “Sleeping On My Own”. Brimming with hometown pride, he takes cues from the melting pot of sounds he’s been surrounded with growing up. Citing Manchester legends Oasis as one of his main influences, he’s quick to list Future and Bon Iver as guiding forces too.

And some more good news: His debut EP is set to drop early next year!
