What a perfect tune to chill. And dream. While we move in time to the cool sound we can remember vividly those great days and nights hanging out with friends.
British producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Danny George returns with his latest single We’re Young which evokes memories of late-night road trips with friends and misspent youth. Written in an Uber on the way home from a DJ set one night, the song manages to encapsulate a feeling of youthful naivety, lust and a suburban monotony that many of us who grew up just outside of the city will relate to. The video is starring talented dancer Diavion Nicolas.
Danny explains: “I grew up in a small suburban town that’s main attractions were just a few night clubs and a cinema complex. As a teenager, I spent most of my time driving around on road trips, picking up friends from nights out, crashing house parties and anything fun that would keep us distracted from a typically sterile situation.”
