It was a warm and sunny evening and the timing was perfect for a soul search by the banks of Sava, the mighty river that traverses the Balkan peninsula and passes Slovenia on its journey south. The reflections on the river were inviting in a dance not unlike that of the fireflies. Zala, architect and model, was enjoying every second of this show and instantly connected with the water flow which brought out her inner goddess – proud, fierce and feminine. The images turned out pure magic, an intimate yet playful journey towards oneself and towards the brink of imagination. If you have never experienced such oasis inherent in nature, it can be difficult to believe. You just have to look within and empower yourself, making the silent interaction with the Universe happen. It is soothing, healing and awakening. Just one camera, one manual focus lens and absolutely no retouching. Pure like that.
