“What actually sparked the first ideas for this shoot was the vintage Victoria Secrets body from the 90’s. I found this piece on Etsy and knew right there I needed to create something with it. When it came in the mail, I realize it was gigantic and I needed to have it adjusted, I could barely wait to have it back from the sewer to just create something.” speaks Steh Meyer enthusiastically about her latest sublime editorial, starring model Joana Teresa Vicente, when we ask her about the idea behind it.
The Brazilian professional photographer, photoshoot producer and creative director based in Cascais, Portugal who we did ask for an interview not long ago loves making people feel beautiful through her lenses and draws inspiration from styling.
“I often feel inspired by the styling first, I see a piece that just sparks something in my brain and I have this vision of what the photoshoot will be like. I like to style my own personal projects so this also means I buy these unique pieces already thinking on what I could do with it even before I wear it. I usually save the piece for a photoshoot and just later keep it to myself. It also means it’s always pieces that I really love.”
