The talented New York based duo Bottler consists of Pat Butler and Phil Shore and they have known each other since childhood. And it’s not quite easy to put them into one musical category. They blend electronic music with vocals, guitar sound and retro synth elements in too many ways. Like in their latest release Melatonin, which is a potpourri of smooth beats, organic vocals and some catchy e-guitar chords.

They explain: “Melatonin is a song about the limbo space between dreams and reality; that moment when you first wake up and are unsure if what you dreamt is a memory from the past or something you imagined the night before. In the track’s lyrics, we describe the frustrating reality that sometimes in dreams, those we love the most take on different faces and embody our deepest anxieties. The production of the track, with its grimy Wurlitzer piano, lo8i drum samples, and spaghetti western guitar, suspends the listener in the space between catchy electro/disco and unsettling avant-pop.”

Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.
