"I really do love people!" 5 minutes with Ksenia Lifanova

We had a short chat with model Ksenia Lifanova of Elite Modeling Agency about future, love and what life taught her. Photography by Mikhail Tcinchenko.

What inspired you to be in front of the camera?

I get inspired by the unique atmosphere when I’m in front of the camera.

I see on your Instagram that you love to travel. Where do you feel most at home?

At the moment I still don’t know where my home is. When you are a model you travel a lot and you need to quickly adapt to a new place. I haven’t been to many countries yet, but I think in the future when I travel even more, I will know where my heart and home is.

On Instagram we all show only the happy side. What helps you in the hard moments?

In difficult moments my work as a model helps me a lot. Also music, people and communication. I really do love people!

What do you do besides modeling for a living?

I study remotely at the university. And I really love styling. I like looking out for beautiful people and getting to know which style fit them best. I also love fashion. My other hobby is finding some good vintage stuff.

Who is the most important person in your life?

Definitely my mum. She is my closest person, my friend, my family. She is such an incredibly strong and purposeful woman. She supports me everywhere and she also influenced my modeling career.

What has life taught you recently?

Life taught me to love. Love yourself, the people around you, and what you do. It is very important to do everything through love.

As always, the future is uncertain. Nevertheless, the question: Where do you see yourself in the future?

I see myself happy and in my place. I try to live in the present as this is very important to me. But sometimes I think about the future aswell and I am sure it will be a good one. You know, the main thing is to always move forward. (smiles)
