“Clara & I shot once before many years ago, and I really wanted to work with her again at some point.” tells us photographer Jeffrey Chan about his newest series starring Clara Settje of Vision Los Angeles. “She’s always lived an active lifestyle, from rock climbing to surfing, and she often feels one with the sea, so I sought out to do a surfing beach story with her. One of her favourite surf spots near LA is PV Cove. While the day we shot there were no waves, it was a sunny day, after a couple of months of southern California’s infamous May Gray & June Gloom. The wonderful thing about Clara has always been her laid back lifestyle & attitude towards life, her confidence & maturity, as well as those beautiful freckles & her strawberry blonde hair.” So true!
