Oh, we can hardly wait for the summer days to cast their golden shadows over us. For too long again, the trees have been without their clothes, and we miss the smell of the sun on our skin and the tickle of the blades of grass on our feet too much.
“To solidify the nostalgia of summer slipping away, we spend one glorious morning in the park, shooting and playing amongst the grass and leaves, and the sun-lit trees, observing it all and cherishing this new Fall,” reminisces model Gabrielle Gecso about her photo series with photographer Honi Perrin de Graaff, recalling a summer in Barcelona. At the heart of it all are the dreamy statues and playful bridges, surrounded by palms swaying in the wind and turquoise blue water, each telling their own long stories.
Honi Perrin de Graaff tells: “In the morning light at Ciutadella Park, Barcelona, I teamed up with model and fellow Australian Gabrielle Gecso to capture the park’s beauty. We explored the little pockets of tranquility and charm, ranging from serene ponds to ornate architecture. As we clicked away, Ciutadella Park unfolded its magic, leaving us with cherished memories as we embraced the simplicity and warmth of the day.”
