Interleaving elements of soul, pop, electronic, jazz, and indie, TAMMIE’s METAMORPHOSIS is just what its title suggests – a brief sonic journey that is both transformative and steadfast. The British singer-songwriter is really filling a clean slate, with only a few of the EP’s singles to her name ahead of the full body’s release. Modulated guitars, haunting pianos and pocketed drums are aplenty on what TAMMIE describes as a chronicle of spirituality.

“I didn’t understand my life’s Purpose, yet I still immersed my life in music,” she says of her path, which goes hand-in-hand with the record; “Now I want to use my music to lead others to the same place.” Brooding and expansive, but possessing a warmth as well, METAMORPHOSIS is perfect for fall – a time of year that is ripe with both motion and introspection.

“This project will forever hold a very special place in my heart, because it tells a story of a truly magical self fulfilling prophecy, and one of my most life-changing experiences yet – my spiritual awakening. For a long time, I didn’t understand my life’s Purpose, yet I still immersed my life in music, and often wondered why. But now my Purpose is clear, and much greater than music, but it was the music that led me there. Now I want to use my music to lead others to the same place.”
