Having a passion in life is something that instills a deep sense of purpose. When you find something that truly sets your soul aflame, life become beyond compare more beautiful, richer, and deeply fulfilling.
“After some time apart, I noticed Senne Lize Hermensdorf of Euro Model Amsterdam had returned to modeling, and it felt like the perfect moment to reconnect. I suggested a spontaneous shoot—no mood boards or big plans, just the two of us exploring the natural beauty of our hometown, Maastricht,” says photographer Guy Houben about this wonderful new series celebrating the synergy of creativity, passion and nature.
“We began at the Kleine Weerd, a rugged stretch of nature on the city’s southern edge, where the river Maas flows through untamed wetlands and shimmering ponds—an environment that felt almost otherworldly. From there, we moved to a hidden riverside spot we both cherished, a place where we’d spent lazy summer days by the water.
To wrap up, we visited the farm of a mutual friend who grows edible flowers. I’d been there for a shoot earlier that week and couldn’t resist bringing Senne—it was the perfect blend of charm and whimsy to end our day.”
