“The goal isn’t just to create beautiful images—it’s about enjoying the experience together, embracing the moment, and sharing a few laughs along the way,” Faith Gunn, an Aotearoa, New Zealand-based photographer, tells us about her C-Heads debut, which focuses entirely on the radiant aura of beautiful Ruby.
“I’m passionate about capturing the true essence of people. My focus is on creating authentic images that celebrate each person’s uniqueness and their passion for fashion.
What I love most about being a photographer is telling a person’s story—one that reflects who they truly are in that moment.
I thrive on creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable and free to be themselves. When people relax in front of the camera, the energy they give off is totally transformed. That shift is what I live for—when a person sees themselves through my lens and realizes how beautiful, confident, and loved they truly are.
These shots of Ruby were captured in the comfort of her own home, with clothes pulled straight from her wardrobe. For me, it’s all about keeping things natural and fun. There’s no pressure, just an easy flow and an opportunity to capture genuine moments.”
