For its 15th year, The Governor’s Ball showcased why it’s one of New York’s biggest and best Music Festivals. Hosting over 50,000 people, Governor’s Ball flawlessly created an atmosphere full of culture and amazing music (for the first and last day). Unfortunately, day 2 was riddled with rain and a 4 hour delay that caused some harsh feelings in people. However, despite the thunderstorms, festival-goers had the opportunity to see all of their favorite artist back-to-back-to-back under a rainbow if they chose to. If an attendee didnt have an artist they were dying to see, Governor’s Ball offered an assortment of foods, drinks and even free momentos at various stations for everyone. From wearing rain coats for Clairo & dancing in the rain to the Wallows, to eating a plate of blueberry cheesecake crumble nachos native to NY (taste way better than it sounds), The Governor’s Ball ’25 was an event that definitely provided core memories for the people in attendance this year, including myself.
