Katrin is a Berlin-based muse who loves gaming live via Twitch streaming and occasionally being in front of the camera. “I play whatever I’m most in the mood for — mostly story games and simulators, but sometimes I feel like shooting things, so my game selection is pretty mixed.”
Together with Elipamodel, they created a short series in a spare room. “Katrin and I have known each other for more than eleven years. In all that time, we only shared the lens three times. And in between? Nine silent years. Nine years in which life took its turns, until fate brought us back together,” the photographer tells us.
“This time, however, the setting was far from glamorous: a small Airbnb belonging to a friend, stripped of inspiration, almost hostile to creativity. I walked in thinking, ‘This will be impossible.’ Katrin, on the other hand, carried an unshakable faith — that I could create beauty even in the most ordinary, disappointing place.
And she was right. Within those plain walls, we carved out a world of our own. Light, shadow, and trust became our tools.”
