Hello from my planet! I love nature, freedom, dancing, traveling, music, reading, chilling, cats and the woods. What makes me happy is healthy food, a good night out, long walks in the forest and getting lost in the sound of nature.

5 Minutes of Summer with Sakina

Being out in the sun makes us happier! I often wish that I was born in another country, where the sun is part of everyday life, and people probably carry the heart more openly because of it. Enjoy this natural series starring gorgeous Sakina Amira Al-Mozany photographed by Florian Rieder, who both also prefer a sunny day over a cloudy one.

Donkey Kid’s new video Toy awakes nostalgic feeling

Already after the first sounds of Donkey Kid’s new song Toy you feel transported back to the “good old” days. A mixture of the 80’s and 90’s we would say, when clothes were somehow still a bit more casual, the music scene was not yet thoroughly professionalized, and social media had not yet come to life.

Barefoot

London based photographer Anete Hiie created a wonderful analogue series together with amazing Anna Grace. “We took the images on one of the last warm summer days in a village just outside of London. We got lost in the forest barefoot for hours and ended up finding a beautiful lake to dip into at sunset.”

Raw Intimacy with Tre Logan

Tre Logan is a writer and photographer living in Lexington, Kentucky. He lives just down the road from where the late Ralph Eugene Meatyard used to grind lenses. His work is gritty, raw and intimate. Without trying to be intentionally voyeuristic it gives an insight into the personality and the sensual side of the person in front of his lens.

At my grandma’s house

I’ve always been inspired by my grandma’s traditional East Coast Catholic decorating, and the fact that she has lived in the same house since she married my grandpa in the 1940s. It’s the house that my dad and all his siblings grew up in, and where I spent a lot of time as a child. I was excited to finally create something using this location that captured the dreamlike isolation that I always feel in the suburbs.”

Paris Autumn Sun with Éléonore

The warming autumn sun sets the perfect scene for Gladys Tan’s new series starring Éléonore Jeanne of V Management. “This is a story about her strolling around the city. It should feel like a “city adrenaline rush”, running with her black heels and wild hair.”

Quenching The Wanderlust

“Greenport invokes this feeling of being on a vacation to a foreign spiaggia in Positano, it has that magical beach port feel. Even though it was overcast, I created this story of Micaela being on a vacation for a day. Getting away from work, and spontaneously travelling to somewhere unknown to her. Ending up in a beautiful portside town and settling down for the day in a little nook away from her busy life.”

Sometimes things just align

Under the Cycladic Sun – A Self Portrait Series

I wanted my images to project carefree summer moments, running barefoot, getting the feeling that the time has stopped, and the only thing left to do is just enjoy summer, enjoy what this island and nature is so generously offering. The fact that I got to be the photographer, the model, and the editor all at the same time is what fascinates me most about self-portrait photography, plus the fact that nobody captures me the way I want.

Reading My Childhood Diaries Helped Me Reconnect with Myself

“What I want is to get back to the girl who smiled at strangers. Who tried to understand people and their interior worlds because they were just as interesting as hers.” Bad experiences riddle even the kindest of people with distrust, and we battle more complex choices than what’s the right thing to do.
