Forgotten Summer

We are always happy to welcome someone to our site. A big hello to Barcelona based photographer Enric Fradera who teamed up with model Nuria Oliu, stylist Alisa Varfolemeeva and make-up artist Marta Pequerul to create a classic, fashionable summer series. “Forgotten Summer is a tribute to this fleeting summer, where we have been able to recover a bit of the joyful and vital spirit of the summers past before the pandemic.”

The magic of a perfect day

How time flies! We had a series with natural beauty Eva Biechy 5 years ago. And we are happy to show you something new. This time she teamed up with photographer Federico Guendel to spend a leisurely afternoon. “Some sun tanning in a Parisian park, followed by a bike ride home, a cold shower and some lounging in the late afternoon.” I guess that’s the magic of a perfect day.

Above the roofs of Barcelona

We love rooftops. In each city there are those places, hidden from below when walking the streets, and a whole new world opening up when entering them. Photo shootings on them therefore always have this special charme with the city only being vaguely perceptible. They sailed and lived for today. Glinty seaside water all around them, the skin warmed up by the rays of sun. Stretching their bodies towards the light, plunging into the turquoise water. “This is a story of women of the sea, sisterhood, sorcerers, a coven, a band of pirates, exploring, capturing, and celebrating life and the sea.”

“I really wanted to capture Marina Nery in the beautiful and historic loud parts of the city of London.” tells us photographer Cara Poyntz. And our heart jumps with joy when seeing all those typical London monuments and feeling the special vibe of the city. “The London Eye, red buses, The River Thames, London Bridge, all of these aspects that give you London today for people visiting, but shot on film to really give you that nostalgia that London will always emit.

Body of Water

We shot the series on a warm summer’s evening at Blagdon Lake in Somerset, UK. I’d wanted to shoot there for a while but not found the right project until now. Foxey approached me with the idea of portraying the archetypes of one of the zodiac signs. In astrology, the water signs symbolise emotions, cleansing, healing, and the art of letting go. Each sign have their own energetic strengths and these photos aim to convey that.

Somewhere where we can be a bit tipsy, laying on the ground on a mild summer night, connecting with earth’s core and the open, limitless sky. Some stranger laying next to us, philosophizing about the pleasures of life. We will run and climb and dance on the highest rooftops while all we do is wishing for this moment to never end.
