“We are two hairstylists, coffee addicts and we have a obvious love for tattoos.” Jill and Sisi laughing out loud. “We have met each other while we were both teachers at a hairdresser academy in Amsterdam. 2 years ago we opened our own shop in the west side of Amsterdam, where we are specialized in bleaching and colouring the hair. Since we opened the shop we are pretty much inseparable.
Being on holidays I wanted to photograph as little as possible, but there were so many moments of Lulo in golden sunlight that I ended up shooting a lot. I love photographing her more than anything, there’s nothing to sell and we are so relaxed with each other that these photographs feel raw, intimate and honest. These are the images that at the end of my career will mean the most.
