The importance of the little moments

And while everything seems to be changing,
the sun still shines every day,
and in between our special moments.

Photographer Tsele Tommy Nthane catched up with model Mariella and her musician boyfriend Johannes in their Airbnb on their last few days in Cape Town. “Mariella had modelling jobs over here, before they were scheduled to fly back to Germany together. There was so much uncertainty in the air about the home they would fly back to. We played some of the music they had made together, ate pizza, drank beer and chatted about our changing world. We realise now how special those moments were especially as we adopt them as a part of our daily routine. What a few days ago felt like a normal activity, is now something attached to a difficult time. But we realise there is so much love and creativity that can still be shared as we spend more time at home, making time for things we never did before.” We are happy to share the beautiful outcome of this shooting, reminding us of the importance of the little moments.
