“My personal goal when doing photography is to create something fascinating. Subject has to be rather interesting, composition should always please the eye, and hopefully the lighting will complement the previous two points.” tells Dhison Padma. It’s all about creating something eye-pleasing.
“We love to take intimate portraits of strangers. And we always appreciate the courage and confidence that our subjects share with their bodies, especially since they’re often people who’ve never posed before. We’re always looking for new faces and through our shots and our projects we want to convey the messages of acceptance for our own and others’ diversity.”
I can still remember how I met her. It was a rainy morning. I was in a hurry. My shoelace was untied and annoyedly I bent down to tie it again. The rain dripped from my hair onto my jeans. When I looked up, she was laughing at me. And somehow, all of a sudden, the sun was shining. At least that’s how it seemed to me.

His work is nostalgic and cinematic, most time with a mystical dark color palette. Telling stories and creating mysteries at the same time. The faces are often obscured, and yet one has the feeling of looking into eyes.
Oswaldo Cepeda is MoodyDarkRoom. Although his catalog is steeped in a cosmic spirit, the Southern California-based photographer is less of a dreamer and more of an adaptor. A light-bender defined by his DIY dexterity, Oswaldo is equal parts scrappy and stylish. At first glance MoodyDarkRoom’s portfolio is a boundless series of instinctive elegance; but behind the artist’s Sony A7II you’ll find a modest dedication to resourcefulness.

I wonder how my life would be, if there was more empty space in it, more silence between us. I want back to this state of standing the empty space, the not needing to know all, not wanting to share all. And where all that we share is that very moment we have with each other.
“Acting like a shelter, protecting us from the outside world and it’s current crisis, we spent some days into a hotel room in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The changing light and the view from the balcony became my main distraction as a photographer. Using my wife as model I could express myself before being able to join the real world.”
“When my friend Nina asked me to shoot for her new brand Posh and Pearls I was more than delighted. An embellishment of the tender woman’s body parts is a tribute to feminity.” photographer Ewa Kwiatek tells us about her wonderful new series.
