London based singer and songwriter Carmen Rosa spent the past two years locked away in her flat “trying to write as much music as possible.” The half Peruvian artist loves to express herself with visuals and music.
“I shut myself away from the world to write music and it was a cathartic experience. “Leave Me Lonely” to me, is about forgetting your inhibitions and allowing yourself to be vulnerable in front of someone you love. It’s about being young and living in the moment’. I wrote and produced this song with my friend and long time collaborator ‘Casually Here’. He has various different projects, as well as ‘Young Colossus’ which he is in with Orlando Weeks from the Maccabees.”
