Armed with a vibrant brand of R&B pop that she says pulls inspo from the King of Pop, Slay Raché is gearing up for the release of her sort-of-self-titled debut album ‘Slay’. Coming later this fall, the Pennsylvanian of Puerto Rican and German descent promises nothing if not catchy hooks, danceable grooves, and charged lyrics.
The latest taste of what’s to come arrives in the form of “You Make Me Wanna Dance,” a bouncy ode to movement and attraction recorded at Philadelphia’s well-loved Milkboy Studio. Set up perfectly for grooving into the change of keys and seasons, Slay Raché asks of listeners only one thing – “DANCE.”
