Imagine walking through 1999 with your iPhone.

That’s kind of what’s going on here. Capitalizing on the electronic production elements of the current wave of synth pop, but bringing gritty guitars to the table, Teddy and the Love Gang have perfectly straddled electro-pop and rock on their newest single,”Daddy Flew.” The new single marks the Oslo-based group’s first release in 2018, and while it doesn’t sound unlike their former releases, it cements the fact that at the moment, the 90s are slowly edging out the 80s in alternative music.

“The main message we want to touch upon in this EP just to take a look into the big contrasts, that life consist of. How some problems can be dealt with in totalt opposite ways, and how relationships can ruin yourself and the ones you care the most about.”
