Well, Denitza Todorowa aka DENA for sure has a way with catchy tunes. The debut album “Flash” of the Berlin-based breakthrough artist, released in spring of 2014 via Normal Surround/!K7, was a charming hybrid of modern pop, 90s R&B and old school hip hop elements with stuck-in-the-ear tracks such as „Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools“. With the new year comes new music: The first taste of DENA‘s second album is as fetching as expected and produced by Canadian producer/songwriter Mocky who made a name on working with big names such as Feist, Kelela or Peaches.
