Timeless beauty. Photographer Jeffrey Chan takes Model Ash Walker for a walk through Dumbo in Brooklyn bringing into being this rad, exclusive fashion story.
“I was in New York City a few weeks ago for a long weekend, and wanted to shoot some classic black & white portraits around the city. I’ve always loved the vibe & architecture of SoHo but it’s franticness and chaos is challenging. It was suggested to me to check out Dumbo in Brooklyn. It had the cobblestones and old brick buildings I was looking for, plus the iconic backdrop of the Manhattan Bridge. Being NYC, the shoot had to be fashion but I did want to put together something simple, perhaps timeless, classic. I met with the great people at Supreme Management and was able to book the wonderful Ash Walker who has the energy I was looking for. Her freckles & presence really added to the story. I was able to get an amazing team from Wilhelmina Artists which made planning & logistics of the whole shoot, much easier.”
