Photographer Julian Martin, model Nathalie, Stylist Ali Gruber and Makeup artist and stylist Carissa Adam headed out of the city, leaving behind the chilly foggy Southern California mornings to arrive at this hidden lush green meadow and forest, being welcomed by blue sky.

“June gloom’ has never felt so real the past couple weeks in southern California. Chilly foggy mornings have had most of us stuck at the local cafe sipping on something extra warm. It was time to leave town and quickly. Best decision we made that day. We were searching for the sun and a escape from the gloomy clouds that encompassed the coast. Loaded the truck and headed east to high elevation, cruising the open road into the most majestic lush greenery. There´s a little secret place just around the corner, up the hill and over the mountain where the desert becomes lush green prairies. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect upon arrival. Exactly what we were looking for, not a cloud in the sky. We parked, loaded up the wardrobe and hiked about 20 minutes inland to be surrounded by Mother Nature and all her beauty.
