Fun, Fresh And Eyewear Love

Crap Eyewear is an independent sunglass brand from Los Angeles, CA. Born in reaction to an expensive and often all-too-serious eyewear market, “we create quality sunglasses that are design-driven, fashion-forward and accessibly-priced.” What a wonderful concept of this supercool eyewear brand that we have just discovered. Enjoy their second installment of the Guest Lens Series exclusive on C-Heads.

The unique and appealing colours, shapes and patterns make it hard to just chose one model and make you want to grab one for each outfit you have. Or each summer month. Or maybe you just want one of each anyway. Moreover what attracted our attention was that they have created a new editorial photo series called Guest Lens, where they show photo stories of their favorite photographers and friends and of course including their latest sunglasses collection into each story. Their first installment of Guest Lens featured photographer Daria Kobayashi Ritch – btw a story that we absolutely love as well – and the second likewise great one now is by Photographer Taryn “TK” Anderson aka Teek The Sneak. She teamed up with the fresh-faced model Aspen Giovanni, whose youthful coolness is adding just the right spice to each image. For the inspiration behind the shoot Taryn tells: “Aspen is so amazing we knew no matter where she was she would look killer. We got inspired by the environment around us. Found a really cool truck to play with. I like the element of surprise sometimes, letting the unknown shape the shoot organically.” Despite the heat out there during the shot and all of them being sweaty beasts, Aspen´s still great looks didn´t leave them any time for a rest and they just kept going and you can feel this great flow they had throughout on the end result. And what´s the photographers connection to the Crap Eyewear fam/ brand anyway? “Crap and I go way back. Great brand, great people. And Venice based. I’ll rock their shades forever. It’s important to support your friends and community. I’ve definitely had some crazy experiences involving Crap maybe I’ll share one day ;)”. We can´t wait to hear some of those crazy stories one day. But in the meantime we can just enjoy those visual moments that catapult us back into those carefree, crazy days where your mind just never stopped to hatch some fun nonsense.
