Photographer Matthew Soulnechnii teamed up with model Babak Gasimzade of FMS models agency on a cold October morning after a heavy rain. And together they let things run easy and created this youthful series for C-Heads. They went through the city, to a nearby wet tennis court. Babak is wearing a sweater by LC Waikiki, pants, underwear and shoes by Pull & Bear.

Really enjoyed this shoot — there’s something pure and fresh about the way Matthew captured Babak in the rainy-city setting. The wet tennis court and damp streets add a raw, almost cinematic texture to the images.
I like how the styling (LC Waikiki sweater, Pull & Bear gear) picks up on the youthfulness but still keeps it grounded — not overproduced. The mix of moody lighting and natural post-rain reflections gives a depth that pulls me in.
