“When I think of analog photography, I think of Hong Kong. When I want to take creative photos I want to take them in Hong Kong. The bustling megacity never stops and the clash of old and new cultures makes it one of the most interesting places in Asia to me.” raves photographer Duran Levinson, who showcases exclusive works of him on C-Heads, shot in location in Hong Kong in December 2015 on various types of film stocks, mainly expired film. All the images were shot on a single Contax T2 point & shoot camera and feature love for detail and a lot of rockstar feeling. “Shooting and exploring in Hong Kong for me, is like dropping shrooms and falling down the rabbit hole. This project is inspired by everything that interests me about Hong Kong. Inspiration is drawn from the images of classic hong kong cinema that come to mind and the desire to capture more than just another photograph.”All the shoots were art directed and styled by the models and himself. Models are Chris Chan, Nicole Yu, Jade Chung & Miles Man and Jade Lau.
