Photographer Drew Dizon and Model Maria had quite a tough time to find a common date to realise a shooting but when it finally worked out it turned out so much the better. “Me and Maria had wanted to work together for some time, but with her constant travels around the world it was damn near impossible to nail down a day. She is a Russian born Chinese/Finnish lifestyle model and when I initially asked her ethnicity, she called herself a person of the world. Done deal. Her energy and exuberance showed through her pictures and it’s even more apparent and infectious in person. We immediately clicked and took advantage of the soft light pouring through the New York flat. She shared stories about her experiences and travels but i’ll let you ask her about that yourself.
