This is the second round on C-Heads of Niccolò Natali´s “nomodel series”, where he asks “normal girls” to pose for him in order to show the beauty in each of them.
Puerto Rican girl Krystal lived in a flat share in Milan together with Niccoló for a couple of days and a few months later they met again and decided to work together on this. “Krystal comes from Puerto Rico, that was one of the things that interested me so much about her. Her curly hair is the epicenter of her vibrant, chaotic and creative mind; she often wears stuff she made, creating a sort of coherent continuity between her body and her clothes; she loves to eat, and I really like girls that love eating. I got to know so much about her in twenty-four hours and that is probably the most amazing thing.” The first series you can enjoy here.

I appreciate the concept of showcasing normal girls in Niccolò Natali’s series. It’s refreshing to see beauty celebrated in diverse ways. It reminds me of how important it is to embrace our uniqueness. I hope more artists continue to focus on authentic representations of beauty.
