A financial analyst by day and an eclectic electronic-soul producer once the sun sets, Shoffy is an artist that clearly writes and produces music with substance that brings feelings to your body. The LA native is gearing up for the release of his new EP, “somewhere between nostalgia & paradise,” out August 26th via Indie Pop Music.

“Movin On” is about being too comfortable, in a passive ‘I’m settling’ sort of way, which ultimately leads to a disconnect. Issues slowly boil to the surface, and then you’re standing there like “man, I need a restart” – something new and exciting. I need that energy back. It might start building without you even knowing it, and then you get hit all of a sudden with a ton of bricks, so you need to go out into the world and look for the light again. Convince yourself to let go of what’s comfortable, and move on.
