There is always so much going on when observing the images of Aurélien Buttin. Everything seems so incredibly free. So happy. So in the here and now.
“We decided to go to the Eastern countries to celebrate my birthday.” Aurélien tells on his series “Wild Ride To East“. “Me, Valentin, Lana and Myriam accross Italy (Garda lake, Venice and Braies lake), Croatia (Plitvice, Zadar, Dubrovnik), Bosnia (Mostar, Blagaj, Kravice), Slovenia (Ljubljana), and Switzerland (the region of the Valais). After several months of work we decided to take a van and go through those countries to relax in the nature and party in the cities. It was all about driving and camping in the nature, playing guitar, making firecamp, swimming naked in the lakes to empty our minds about the daily life.”
