We fall in love with Elsa of Cookies and Cinnamon and her sweet and cozy instagram account which is wrapped into warm golden colours. Just like herself and her cat. We asked her to show us some of her favorite images she took herself and some taken by her boyfriend the talented photographer Alessio Albi along with a few words about them.
“I’m Elsa, a 25 years old little redhead. I’m Belgian but I’m living in Italy with my boyfriend, Alessio Albi. He is a photographer, I’m a model, some would say “the perfect combination”. But these last months have been a period for me of existentials questionings, particularly regarding my own image. I have so many pictures of me from various photographers but they often reflect their own perspective and not who I really am. During an umpteenth day of existential requests, Alessio, exaspered, told me “ Take your pictures by yourself if you are not happy!”. I took it literally. At the beginning, I used him like a tripod, arranging the scene, and asking him to press the button. Now, it’s been a few weeks that I’m trying to shoot selfportraits and photograph the things I love, like warm and cosy moments, reminding me that happiness stays in the small joys of daily life.”
