“A friend of mine has a beautiful apartment in the 7th Arrondissement, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Eva and I met there to create this set on a freezing-cold Paris winter afternoon, with no goal in mind other than to work together. We smoked cigarettes, drank a lot tea and shot on 35′. There’s a nostalgia and a kind of melancholy to Eva’s beauty that I really like. She’s also really shy, which is both surprising and charming.”
