Autumn has often reminded me of a bitter red velvet, that of a theater or a plaid intended for a languorous evening. I wanted this mixtape to reflect the season that we know, analog, made with very round and dreamy sonority. I also meant to elicit the imagery of Twin Peaks, the village made of wood with its golden leaves and elegant mysteries. Aesthetics are often confused with dreams. I hope this mixtape contains a bit of both.
L’automne m’a souvent évoqué le velours d’un rouge amer, celui d’un théâtre ou d’un plaid qui prédit une soirée alanguie. Je voulais cette mixtape à l’image de la saison que l’on connait, analogique, avec des sonorités très rondes et parfois rêveuses. Je voulais aussi susciter l’imagerie de Twin Peaks, le village fait de bois avec ses feuilles dorées et ses mystères toujours empreints d’élégance. L’esthétique se confond souvent avec l’onirisme. J’espère que cette mixtape contient un peu des deux.
